Battle Report: Tallarn "17th" vs Skitarii Cohort (External)
PROLOGUE
Python III, the heavily contested world that the Necrons once held majority claim over has since become the center stage of the Imperium's counter offensive against the Legions of Silence, acting as a beacon to draw in their already stretched forces. Because of the strategic importance that the world holds, the Silent King has commanded that all available forces converge on Python III immediately in an attempt to stem Humanity's advance. One such force are the Tallarn "17th", a regiment of the Astra Militarum that has pledged their guns to the Necron cause, seeing the odds of survival more favourable with them than with the Commissars and Astartes that lead the Imperial forces.
Upon arrival, the Tallaran "17th" find themselves unwittingly in the path of the surviving Skitarii Cohort who are on a mission to recover a working communication device from amongst the rubble of their own machinery, destroyed as they were by the Protocian Dynasty. Not wishing the anger their machine masters, the Tallarn "17th" make the decision to intercept the Skitarii and disrupt their mission, for the Necrons would surely be pleased with the eradication of a potentially dangerous threat gaining the ability to communicate with their allies...
