Reclamation of Orberus - 40k Crusade Campaign

On the fringes of the Nephilim war, the Orberus Sector was once a relatively peaceful region of real space under the majority control of the Imperium, that is until the Khertet Dynasty, under the orders of the Silent King himself laid claim to the capital planet of Python IV to expand the the dominion of the Pariah Nexus. The Khertet Dynasty, however, took a temporary leave of absence from the sector over the last several cycles for reasons known only to themselves. Now the Imperium seek to take advantage of the Necrons decreased numbers and have gathered their forces on the outer moon of Venom, building their strength to deliver a major blow to the Pariah Nexus's expansion and reclaim control of the Orberus Sector from the Silent King's clutches.

Whilst the Echoes of Nihilus campaign wraps up, the ending having been delayed due to circumstances beyond mine or the hosting club's control, I am happy and proud to announce the next 40k crusade campaign I will be running and covering over the next few months. I have just posted the application details over on the club's page now which have been given a deadline of late April (with prologue games available for early sign ups) and have already had a fair few sign ups, so expect some more narrative focused posts starting May time. Until then I will be posting some lore and background behind the Orberus Sector itself as well as some prologue narrative(s) and details of the three alliances battling it out over the star system.
