Grand Narrative: The Countdown

 

The time is nigh. In just 4 days I will be making the pilgrimage to Warhammer World in Nottingham where I will partake in the biggest Warhammer event I have ever attended, or at least the first. There will be games, narrative and, most importantly, Bugman's XXXXX ale which is just <insert chef's kiss here>.

As my main focus now will be primarily on the Grand Narrative for the rest of the week, I will be putting both my eBay and Vinted shop accounts into Holiday mode on Wednesday, so if you are looking to buy anything from my shops you have until Wednesday to do so, otherwise you'll have to wait until I return on Sunday.

Over the next few days I will be posting up some Grand Narrative related content on the lead up to this momentous occasion, including my final Order of Battle and the set lists I am making based on certain narrative elements, the final two models that I am painting furiously in time for the event and a two minutes 'til midnight type post, so lots of content coming to the blog assuming I actually do it.

One final thing, I have also decided to post up some reels/shorts on the Project Side Facebook page, YouTube channel (yes I have one) and Instagram, the video above being the first of these. Be sure to follow those pages to see my experience of the Grand Narrative before, during and after the event in video format. I hate being caught on video* (hence I don't run a full time YouTube channel... yet) so this will be therapy for me as much as it is content for you.

*Yes I am aware that I have streamed on Twitch previously, however as that was real time I didn't have to watch myself back and so I dealt with that easier than actually videoing myself.
