Random Sel-X: Have Your Say!
Remember a week ago when I said that I had no clue as to what it was I wanted to do video games-wise on this blog? Remember how I threw out a bunch of ideas for video game content that I was toying with and was completely unsure on how I was going to decide on which one to do?
Well 3 days ago I attended a social gathering of friends where I had engaged in a friendly Tekken 8 tournament last Sunday and I decided to bounce my ideas off a few friends of mine. The idea that seemed to resonate the best was to give you, dear readers the power to decide on which XBox Game Pass game I shall not only play, but stream for you all to enjoy my agony. I have titled this series: Random Sel-X.
Now the obvious issue I could think of for this idea was the sheer volume of different games people might suggest all at once and being able to pick a clear and fair winner out of all those suggestions would be a logistical nightmare, so to simplify things I will be randomly selecting 5 Game Pass games using the gamepasspicker.com every time I complete/rage quit on a game. You will then have the chance to vote on the game you want me to stream out of those 5 games and I will have to download and play it live. Sounds simple right?
With all that said the 5 random games selected for your voting pleasure for the first round are as follows. I will update the vote tallies as I receive them from both the comments below and from the other social media platforms I hold votes on (such as Twitter/X or Facebook):

I have decided that the deadline for these votes will be Saturday 24th February at 12am GMT. This should give me enough time to work out any kinks in my system and download the relevant game before I am ready to stream in earnest. I will also work out a system for me to earn gold, silver and bronze emoji medals as we go along and these will be tracked in each post. How I earn these will depend on how far I get into a game, or how much of a game I complete. If I quit on a game then I don't earn a medal, simple as! But don't worry about medals for the moment as this system will be explained in a future post.
